How to Brew the Good Stuff
- Buy: Buy coffee in whole bean form when you can and keep it in an airtight container. Using within 4 to 6 weeks of roasting is ideal. Do not freeze!
- Prepare: To brew coffee, use fresh water, it is 98% of every cup of coffee.
- Grind: For the perfect brew always grind your coffee beans just before brewing. Invest in a burr grinder, they are worth it. Blade grinders work well too but sometimes its not as consistent a grind and they can heat up.
- Brew: Use about 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for each ¾ cup of water, or 1 to 16 ratio. This varies slightly on the brew method, please check out our Brew Guide for more information.
